Tuesday, April 22 - 7-9pm (Zoom SHOW & TELL )
Las Damas members enjoyed a Zoom Show & Tell with presenters, Pat Fenda, Patt Fosnaught and Amy Phillips. Eight members attended. Pat Fenda showed several plein air pastels that she has prepared for inclusion in the Enchanted Garden Fest show at Folly Farm in Safety Harbor. Pat also shared some pencil sketches. Patt Fosnaught presented some of her bracelets, one of which sold at Florida CraftArt: Shop. Patt described the time-consuming and intricate process she employs to create bracelets and apply precious stones. Amy Phillips talked about her painting process and shared photos of her work and studio. Amy shared a mono-print video demo and explained how three of her recent works employed that process before painting, two of which she sold at the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts. Joan Burpee, Debra Radke and Leslie Jeffery attended, sharing valuable experiences and tips about showing in galleries and pricing artwork. Carol Gaynor attended and Barbara Heineken set up the Zoom meeting. It was a fruitful, educational and fun gathering and we will probably do this again.
